Volunteers

It is through the support of our members that the viability of our organization is sustained year by year. Thank you!

For a weekend pass to the festival volunteers are asked to volunteer for a minimum 12 hours. If you are interested in day passes and volunteering for less than a full weekend please contact the KJES office.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many types of volunteers required to ensure the success of the festival, including:

• Merchandise
  Volunteers will be selling merchandise and answering questions about the festival. Cash register experience needed.
• Main Gate
  Volunteers will be checking tickets and affixing wristbands.
• Ticket Sales
  Volunteers will be selling tickets. Cash register experience needed.
• Beer Garden
  Volunteers will handle ticket sales, service, and BG safety.
• Advance Set-Up Crew- Dismantle Crew
  Volunteers will erect and disassemble the main stage and the beer garden, install fencing, and other general site preparation.
• Festival Hosts
  Volunteers are needed as hosts at gates, backstage, to assist patrons and monitor the festival perimeter.
• Parking
  Volunteers will monitor and direct traffic at festival site.
• Administration
  Volunteers with management skills are needed to oversee various aspects of the festival. Hosting, vendors, grounds maintenance, Beer Garden, Billets.
• Survey and Tracking
  Volunteers will interview festival patrons through a computer system.
• Volunteer Tent
  Checking in volunteers and selling memberships.
