About KJES

The Purpose of the Kaslo Jazz Etc Society is to foster and promote the appreciation of jazz and related music in the Kootenays. Incorporated under the BC Societies Act (1993) and registered as a Charity under the Canadian Income Tax Act (2009), the Kaslo Jazz Etc. Society has developed a long standing, community supported summer music festival, created one of the premier cultural events in the region and contributed significantly to local employment opportunities.
